Mr V. K. Shunglu, Chairman DPS Society was conferred with one of the nation's highest civilian honours - the Padma Bhushan in 2019 for his contribution to civil services. A postgraduate in history from Delhi University, Mr Shunglu has been a member of DPS Society since 1998. Mr Shunglu joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1962 and in his distinguished career held various senior positions in Finance, Planning, Taxation, Industry, Energy, Health and Family Welfare and Industry and Company Affairs. Besides serving as Chairman DPS Society he also serves as the Chairman at ASREC (India) Limited.

Ms. Vrinda Sarup, a 1981 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, retired from the government services in December 2016. She has played an important role in conceptualising and implementing several policies and programmes in the education sector, including Mahila Samakhya (MS), District Primary Education Programme (DPEP) and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and the fundamental Right to Education. She was Secretary in Ministry of Consumer Affairs Food and Public Distribution and Human Resource Development. Her key area of specialization has been in the Social Sector.

Ms Meenakshi Singh Pathania, an educationist with the spirit of a pioneer and a far-reaching vision, brings with her a wealth of administrative experience and a well proven skill set. Hailing from an illustrious family of educationists, daughter of Mr. N.K Singh, former Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, is herself driven by a desire to extend quality education across all levels, pre-primary to the tertiary. In 2011, she embarked upon the mission to create a beautiful school for toddlers called Apple Blossom. Encouraged by the success of her signature schools- Apple Blossom and DPS Sushant Lok, Gurugram, she set up The Tribhuvan School, Patna, Delhi Public School, Kota and Tribhuvan College, Neemrana. Her dream is to offer a complete educational journey to students by opening institutions of higher learning in the near future.

Mr. N.K. Singh is a prominent Indian economist, academician, and policymaker. He is currently Chairman of the 15th Finance Commission. Prior to this position, he presided as Chairman of the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Review Committee (FRBM). He also served as a member of the Upper House of the Parliament, the Rajya Sabha, from 2008 to 2014, during which time he contributed to several prominent Parliamentary Standing Committees including the Public Accounts Committee, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and the Committee on Human Resource Development.

Mr. Singh had a long and distinguished career as a member of the Indian Administrative Services before his entry into politics and fiscal policy leadership. He served as Expenditure Secretary, Revenue Secretary, Secretary to the Prime Minister of India and Member Planning Commission among other senior leadership roles.

On the academic front, he is a Member of the Governing Board of the Nalanda University and Chairperson of its Endowments Committee. Mr. Singh has been a recurring eminent guest lecturer at prestigious academic institutions and Universities like Columbia, Yale and Stanford. He also holds the position of Co-Chairman of the India Advisory Committee, London School of Economics. He is a Member on the Board of Trustees of the Institute of Economic Growth of the Delhi School of Economics. He was Chairman, Board of Governors for Management Development Institute and International Management Institute.

Ms Rina Ray, MA in Sociology joined the civil services in 1984 from Union Territories cadre. She has served as the Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Human Resource Development and as Education Secretary in the Delhi Govt. Later, Ms Ray successfully served as the Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development.

Mr Arvind Mehta, an illustrious alumni of St. Stephens College and Delhi School Of Economics, joined the Civil Services in 1984 from Himachal Cadre where he held manifold portfolios in diverse sectors such as Health, Education and Transport to name a few. His career graph spans stints at the Defense, Finance and Commerce Ministries and has served as Secretary, 15th Finance Commission 2017-2020. His zeal and dedication for work continues unabated, as after superannuation, he is currently working as a Distinguished Fellow at NITI Aayog- for policy and implementation issues.

Mr Somesh Goyal is a post graduated in English Literature and taught the same at a degree college in Haryana before joining the Indian Police Service in 1984 and was allocated to Himachal Pradesh cadre. Mr Somesh Goyal is a trained Commando and has worked with the Black Cats (National Security Guard). He has also worked and trained Special Protection Group. Mr Somesh Goyal has also worked as Inspector General in Border Security Force and SSB in Kashmir, Assam and on Bangladesh border. Mr Somesh Goyal is a recipient of President's Police medal for Meritorious Service and also for Distinguished Service. Mr Somesh Goyal superannuated as Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh. He is an alumnus of National Defence College. Mr Somesh Goyal is a keen photographer, wildlifer and golfer. He occasionally writes on Indian security concerns and wildlife.
